Top 4 Scented Candles

A calm and comforting home is becoming a fast growing trend. Which means you are likely to find at least one scented candle or diffuser in a household. Probably a bit of an exaggeration but you get my point. There is nothing more comforting than coming after a long day, lighting some candles, having a cup of tea and reading your favourite book.

I am no stranger to having a few scented candles doted around my bedroom. And over time I’ve grown to have a few brand favourites and a few favourite scents. One of the first brand I fell in love with was Isle of Skye Candle Company. I’ve tried a few of their scent over time but my too absolute favourites are Frankincense and Mryth and Juniper. This brand is great for fresh scents that aren’t too overwhelming and these too are no exception to that. These are also great scents for lighting during the day.

Another great brand and one that is hugely popular is Jo Malone. I am a big fan of Jo Malone and have bought many products from the brand before. The scent I chose in the candle was Peony and Blush Suede which is also one of my favourite cologne scents. The candles are a lovely quality and have a great burn time. But also the packaging is so beautiful that they are the perfect mantel piece statement.

If you are looking for something a little different then Paddywax is probably a good place to start. Their candle scents, although smell fresh, have slightly unusual ingredients. This particular scent is Black Coconut and Amber. Amber of course is very common in the scented candle library but coconut is not as, at times can smell wrong when mixed with other scents. But this smell is heavenly and sparks memories of going on my summer holidays and drinking Pina Coladas.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know in the comments below what your favourite scented candles are. See you next time!!
